[AMERICANS ABROAD] Jozy Altidore scored two goals to give Dutch club AZ a 4-0 win over NEC, while Herculez Gomez and DaMarcus Beasley both had goals in winning efforts in Mexico. Gomez’s goal in the 89th minute gaveEstudiantes Tecos a 2-1 win over Pachuca in Coach Raul Ariqas’ first game in charge. Beasley’s goal on a header in Puebla’s 2-1 win over UNAM was his first goalin Mexico. The only other American besides Altidore to win in Europe over the weekend was German-American Fabian Johnson, who started at left back inHoffenheim’s 2-0 win over Augsburg.
