• Americans Cameron Carter-Vickers and Malik Tillman were named to the 2023 Scottish Premiership team of the year by PFA Scotland. CCV, who recently had knee surgery and will be out four months, was also picked on the team of the year in 2022 when he became the first American so honored. He is one of seven players on the 2023 Best XI from Celtic, which has clinched the Premiership, won the League Cup and is in the final of the FA Cup. Tillman, who suffered a hamstring injury in Rangers’ Old Firm loss in the FA Cup semifinals, has scored 10 goals and added four assists in 28 games on loan from Bayern Munich.
