Christian Pulisic could see his first Italian Serie A action on Friday when AC Milan hosts Venezia, which features American midfielder Gianluca Busio, on Matchday 2. Pulisic returned to full training last week after recovering from a lower leg injury suffered at the World Cup.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that, despite playing zero minutes in preseason games, Pulisic accelerated his recovery enough to convince the AC Milan’s new coach, Rúben Amorim, to call him up for the trip to Torino.
