In Matt Turner‘s biggest start of his first season at Arsenal, the Gunners fell at Manchester City, 1-0, in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Dutchman Nathan Ake’s goal just after the hour mark was the difference. Turner, who is still looking to make his Premier League debut, managed to keep high-scoring Erling Haaland off the scoresheet. He credited his center backs for their work on the Norwegian. “When I was called to sweep up behind,” he said, “I was able to do that tonight. I’m proud of that — but I’d rather win and him score rather than lose and him not score.”
