• Serie B. Tanner Tessmann assisted on Finn Joel Pohjanpalo’s third of four goals in Venezia’s 5-0 win over Modena. It moved to 10th place with the win, its third in a row and sixth in the last seven games, and is all but assured of staying in Italy’s second-tier. In Tessmann’s second season, he has three goals and two assists in 29 games. After starting most of his first season with Venezia in Serie A, Gianluca Busio has been mostly used in a reserve role in the second half of the 2022-23 season.
