Carlo Ancelotti on Monday sprinkled fresh doubt on his future at Paris Saint-Germain by admitting that it would be impossible to turn down the chance to coach Real Madrid. In aninterview with TVE, the Italian said: “I don’t think there is a single coach in the world who could say no to a club like Real Madrid. It would be very difficult to turn something like that down. AllI can say for now, though is that I am happy at PSG at the moment.”
Nevertheless, Ancelotti’s comments about his future are awkward considering the situation at Real Madrid, where coach Jose Mourinho is sure to depart the club this summerafter a disastrous domestic campaign that has seen Los Blancos fall 16 points behind La Liga leader Barcelona. The Portuguese is also rumored to be at odds with club officials and even his ownplayers, meaning the Spanish giant will be actively looking for a replacement this summer. Ancelotti seems to be saying he would always be available for that job.
