Former France international Nicolas Anelka, whose career was dogged by controversy, will work as a consultant for Dutch club Roda JC.
“Nicolas Anelka will concentrate on ouracademy,” a club statement said. “His precise role will be discussed over the next weeks. He will also advise the club on prospects in the French market.”
Anelka’s first recommendation:Lyes Houri, on loan from Bastia to the Roda under-21 team for six months.
