• Schellas Hyndman, whose college coaching career spanned Eastern Illinois (1977-83), SMU (1983-2006) and Grand Canyon (2015-21) — and who guided FC Dallas to an MLS Cup runner-up finish during his 2008-13 tenure in the pros — will serve as United Soccer Coaches’ interim Director of Coaching Education. He steps in for Vince Ganzberg, who moved to U.S. Club Soccer last month. Hyndman’s tasks include finalizing, within the coming weeks, the details for the Summer Residentials in June and July.
