• The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL Championship) have advanced to the third round of the 2023 Open Cup after Rochester New York FC, their second-round opponent, folded after one season in MLS Next Pro. It was previously known as the Rochester Rhinos, who won the Open Cup in 1999. The draw for the third round will be held on April 6. The first round (14 games) will be held March 21-23; the second round (now 29 games) is scheduled for April 4-6.
