Portland’s Diego Valeri tied the MLS record for goals in consecutive games with a sharp shot into the lower corner in a 1-0 win over NYCFC. He joins Carlos Ruiz(2006), Wolde Harris (2000) and Raul Diaz Arce  (1997) with seven goals in seven straight games.
