Americans Abroad: Mix Diskerud leaves Omonia Nicosia
• Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia parted ways with veteran midfielder Mix Diskerud after two seasons. He won back-to-back Cypriot Cup titles in 2022 and 2023 and the 2021 Cypriot Super Cup with Omonia. The 32-year-old Diskerud, who was a member of the USA’s 2014 World Cup team, has played for 10 clubs in his 15-year pro career.
