Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale had to leave the Wales camp on Tuesday because of a calf injury, forcing him out of the crucial World Cup qualifiers with Georgia and Ireland but the injury wasdiagnosed as a swollen left calf muscle, not a tear, boosting his chances of facing former club Tottenham in the Champions League.
