Bears extend undefeated streak to 10 games

[COLLEGE WOMEN: California] No. 15 California extended its undefeated streak to 10 games with a 3-0 shutout over San Francisco Monday evening at Negoesco Stadium.Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick had a goal and two assists to lead the Golden Bears, who improved their record to 7-0-3.

With just three minutes left inthe first half, Fitzpatrick broke the scoreless deadlock when she broke through a pair of defenders and scored from six yards out.

In the second half, Fitzpatrick set up junior Grace Leer, who turned and chipped the ball past Don keeper Madalyn Schiffel, and her short cross to found charging Ifeoma Onumonu, who broke away easily and drilled the ball into the net with plenty of room to secure the win.
