AC Milan moved closer to the Italian Serie A title with a resounding 3-0 win over Inter Milan that put the Rossoneri five points ahead with seven games to play, but Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi said there were no hard feelings toward Inter coach Leonardo, who coached Milan last season.

“Isincerely wish him well,” said Berlusconi, “and hope he can continue to bring success to Inter. I’m fond of Leo, he contributed a lot to AC Milan and I have nothing but feelings of affection towardshim.”

Milan won thanks to two goals by Brazilian Pato Alexandre and a third by his frontline partner, AntonioCassano. Rossoneri was in a buoyant mood when he joined the team at midfielder Clarence Seedorf‘s restaurant. “The title? It’s only seven matches away.We can make it and from that point of view the derby was important.”

Berlusconi added that Milan use had no use for young Italy star MarioBalotelli: “Every now and again he gets carried away, but AC Milan has a style which I don’t think is close to Balotelli’s.”
