BOWLING GREEN. Ryan Comiskey (Grantville,Pa./Northern Lebanon), Jacob Eganhouse (Westerville, Ohio/St. Francis De Sales), Sam Galloway (Copley, Ohio/Copley),Matt Griesinger (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville), Keegan Ross (Pickerington, Ohio/North), Zach Schewee (Rochester, Mich./Stoney Creek), Ryan Snashall (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman) and Mike Wiest(Naperville, Ill./North) signed with the Falcons
 
“This recruiting class is very important for BGSU soccer, and it is exciting to announce the group that will be thecornerstone of our rebuilding efforts,” said Coach Eric Nichols.  “The common thread among all these guys is that each of them have tremendously highstandards for themselves and share our desire to reestablish Bowling Green as a championship caliber program.

LOYOLA, MD. Diego McQuestion (Baltimore) and Thurman Van Riper (Groton, Mass) have signed with Greyhounds.
 
UC DAVIS. Alex Henry (Poway, Calif.), NickGregoriev (San Diego), Elliott Hord (Fresno), Ian Palmer  (Tucson, Ariz.) and Omar Zeenni (Arcadia, Calif.) signed with the Aggies.

“I think it’s an outstanding group of recruits to add to our team for 2010,” said Coach Dwayne Shaffer.  “I think we increased our overall team speed and athleticism and we certainly filled in some needs and added extra depth with the signing of thesestudent-athletes.  I think all five will certainly add a lot of depth to our program and we are looking for great things from this group.”

VALPARAISO. Israeli transfers Guy Shabtay (Prairie State College) and Lior Avisror (Prairie StateCollege) and high school seniors Eppokrates Litos (Saint John, Ind.) and Tom Serratore (Tinley Park, Ill.), kick offthe announcement of the Valparaiso men’s soccer recruiting class for 2010.
 
“We are coming off a solid season in 2009, a season where a lot of hard work over the past two yearsstarted to bear some fruit in terms of success on the field,” said Valpo coach Mike Avery.  “Obviously, we want more, and we want to continue our trendof building into a nationally competitive side that is a realistic contender for a Horizon League title, and our goal of becoming a team capable of playing deep in the NCAA tournament.  Weknow we have some work yet to do, but we are clearly making progress, and the players we have added to the fold in this recruiting class will definitely help us, both in short term and in thefuture.”
