U.S. striker Bobby Wood has signed with Union Berlin, which finished seventh in the German second division last season. The 22-year-old had previously been rumored to join firstdivision VfB Stuttgart. He arrives from 1860 Munich, which had loaned him last season to Erzgebirge Aue, which was relegated to the third division.
