[U.S. OPEN CUP] MLS’s New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire fell at home to teams from the third division USL-2 in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesdaynight. The Harrisburg City Islanders beat New York, 1-0, and the Charleston Battery knocked off the Fire on penalty kicks — the eighth MLS team it has beaten in Open Cup play.
