The NSCAA and U.S. Futsal have launched the first online futsal coaching course.
The course, available at www.NSCAA.com/Futsal, consists of eight core and five elective modules including:
• History of thegame
• Basic techniques and tactics
• Rules of the game
• Benefits Futsal training can offer youth soccer coaches and players
• Training activities forplayers
• Tools on how to start a Futsal team or league
“This course provides an excellent introduction to futsal for all coaches andgives practical and applicable training ideas that will translate into improved game performance and overall player development,” said Ian Barker, NSCAA Director of CoachingEducation.
The NSCAA Level 1 Futsal Diploma course fee is $40 for NSCAA members and $50 for non-members.
“The game of futsal has been the learning ground for some of thegreatest players that have ever stepped on a soccer field,” said U.S. Futsal president Alex Para. “The NSCAA has been educating soccer coaches for years, and through thisgreat partnership, we will work together to educate our coaches on how to use futsal as a way to improve the technical skills of our soccer players.”
