SIUE senior Jennifer Pelley set the school record for career shutouts with her 23rd shutout in a scoreless tie at Oral Roberts. The Cougars are now 0-2-2. Theother tie was also in a scoreless match Aug. 23 against Indiana. “Any time you have a career record, the first thing you think about is consistency,” said SIUE coach Derek Burton. “Jen certainly has ability and she has continued to grow as a goalkeeper and a leader. She’s been remarkably consistent. This record is atestament to her consistency, work ethic and competitiveness.” Pelley surpassed  the record she shared with Stephanie Kult.
