
Uruguay, scoreless in four straight games — including its Copa America opener (a 1-0 loss to Argentina) — finally got a goal, thanks to Chile’s Arturo Vidal hitting his own net. The 1-1 tie however clinched a quarterfinal spot for Chile. Argentina also advanced to the knockout stage thanks to a 1-0 win over Paraguay.
