[MLS TRANSACTIONS] The Columbus Crew has used its top slot in the allocation rankings to claim attacker Kei Kamara, an MLS veteran who was released byMiddlesbrough in late August. His stay in England lasted only a year; he’d joined the English club for a transfer fee reported to be $1.5 million and signed a two-year contract, but he and theclub mutually agreed to terminate his contract after he scored four goals in 25 games.
