CSKA Moscow on Friday was handed a three-game stadium ban for supporters, in addition to other penalties, after a section of the Russian club’s traveling support clashed with stewardsduring its 5-1 defeat to AS Roma in UEFA Champions League Group E action on Matchday One. Additionally, the club was charged with its fans throwing flares into sections of the Giallorosso support,which briefly disrupted play, as well as racist chanting. UEFA on Friday hit the Russian outfit with a three-game stadium ban, meaning it must play its next three home games in Europe behind closeddoors.
