[U.S. UNDER-20 MEN] The U.S. under-20 national team got goals from Californians Daniel Cuevas and Villyan Bijev, both now playing abroad, to give it a 2-0 lead but it had to settle for a 2-2 tie with the FC Dallas reserve team in a friendly at the ESPN Wide Worldof Sports in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Cuevas, one of three players brought in from Mexican club Santos, scored on a pass from North Carolina freshman MikeyLopez in the 20th minute, and Bijev, who is at Germany’s Fortuna Duesseldorf on loan from Liverpool, added to the USA’s lead four minutes later.

But FCD equalized on goals byJonathan Top, a U-20 candidate himself, and Ruben Luna.
