Clint Dempsey, who has been so instrumental in Fulham’s run to the quarterfinals of the Europa League, will miss Thursday’s quarterfinal match againstWolfsburg with a thigh injury.
Dempsey was injured in Sunday’s Premier League match against Wigan but played the entire game. Fulham’s other top striker, Bobby Zamora, is also injured.
Fulham goes into the second leg of the Wolfsburg series with a 2-1 advantage.
