[USA MEN] Landon Donovan will captain the USA and likely play the first 30 minutes in his final game for the USA Fridayagainst Ecuador in East Hartford, Connecticut (7 p.m. ET on ESPN, WatchESPN, UniMas). He credited U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati for making the farewellappearance possible, telling Galaxy Insider on Tuesday thatit was “a safe assumption” that it wouldn’t have happened but for Gulati’s intercession.
