As expected, 19-year-old Hawaii-born, Germany-raised central defender Noahkai Banks will puruse a career with the German national team instead of the USA, which he represented at the U-20, U-19 and U-17 level, including at the 2023 U-17 World Cup. “The decision is final,” said Banks, who has made 35 Bundesliga appearances (26 starts) for FC Augsburg. “I’m German now.”
