[MLS] A day before meeting Kansas City in its first competitive action of the preseason, San Jose on Tuesday announced the signing of forward EduardoAdelino da Silva. The 30-year-old had been training with San Jose since preseason began in late January. He accompanied the team to Phoenix, Ariz., and played in a 3-0 loss to the Wizards onWednesday.
