Jill Ellis, who led the USA to the 2015 Women’s World Cup title, has been named the 2015 World Coach of the Year for Women’s Soccer. Ellis is the first American to win the award. Swede PiaSundhage won the award in 2012 after she led the USA to the Olympic gold medal in her last season as U.S. coach.
