After guiding Texans SC Houston to the 2017 Development Academy U-17/18 national championship title, Eric Quill moved to FC Dallas to coach its second team. North Texas SC, whosefield players’ average age was under 20, lifted the 2019 USL League One title in October. Quill had also served as an assistant coach to Dave van den Bergh when he coached the2019 U-17 World Cup players as U-15s in 2016-17, and later when van den Bergh briefly coached them as U-17s — before Raphael Wicky took over the team the last March. Quill will serveas an assistant coach at an upcoming youth national team team camp.
