1. Sporting KC’s Krisztian Nemeth had his suspension for a red card issued for a reckless tackle on Vancouver midfielder Felipe in the May18 game against the Whitecaps extended one game. Nemeth will miss Wednesday’s game against the LA Galaxy. Sporting KC, plagued by a rash of injuries, will lose center back Botond Barath and Nemethafter Saturday’s game at Houston. They have been called up by Hungary for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Wales.

2.DAZN has acquired exclusive MLS broadcast rights for the next four seasons in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. It also has non-exclusive rights to MLS games in Brazil, where ESPNalso has broadcast rights. DAZN’s executive chairman is John Skipper, the former ESPN executive who championed its soccer coverage until his sudden departure in 2017, citing substance addiction thathe later revealed involved cocaine.

3. The “United States of Soccer” talk show on SiriusXM FC will be expanded to three hoursMonday-Friday, beginning next Monday. The show hosted by Jason Davis begins at noon ET.
