As Manchester United celebrated its English Premier League title on Monday night, defender Patrice Evra appeared to mock Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, who awaitshis punishment for biting Branislav Ivanovic during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Sunday, by biting into a fake dismembered arm.
The fake arm was thrown ontothe field from the crowd as United players paraded around in front of Old Trafford fans following the club’s 3-0 win against Aston Villa, which clinched its record 20th top-flight league titlein England.
According to the report, Evra picked up the arm and made a gesture to bite into it, apparently in reference to the Suarez incident. The Frenchman then carried the arm around thefield, posing for pictures with it. Irate Liverpool fans have since asked the Football Association to take action against Evra.
