Georgia United U-15/16, the only non-MLS club to reach the semifinals of either age group in the 2015 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Championships, fell to New York Red Bulls, 2-1, on Thursday inCarson, Calif.
The Red Bulls, who benefited from the second-half ejection of Patrick Okonkwo for violent conduct, will in the final on Saturday meet FC Dallas, 3-0 winners overthe Philadelphia Union.
Okonkwo’s 11th minute goal was his 33rd of the season.
