[NWSL: Week 17] FC Kansas City became thesecond team to clinch a playoff berth when it tied first-place Seattle, 1-1, and Washington beat Chicago, 2-1. Yael Averbuch‘s goal in the fourth minute ofstoppage time moved the Spirit closer to a playoff berth after finishing last in the NWSL in the league’s inaugural season.
