After just 21 months into his sentence, former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness will be released from prison at the end of February. He was sentenced to a three-and-a-half-year prisonsentence in Landsberg am Lech prison for tax evasion in 2014 after he admitted to holding funds in a secret Swiss bank account. He has since paid back the money to the German tax authorities. He hasonly spent five nights a week in the prison for the past year as he’s been on work release.
