Honduran Alfredo Hawit became the second former Concacaf president to plead guilty in the FIFA scandal when he pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy, wire fraud conspiracy and conspiracy toobstruct justice in Federal court. He agreed to pay $950,000 to the United States and faces 20 years in jail on each of the three counts. He is the 17th of 42 defendants to be convicted in the case.His predecessor as Concacaf president, Jeffrey Webb, has also pleaded guilty. A third former Concacaf president, Jack Warner, continues to fight extradition.
