Former Concacaf president Alfredo Hawit, a former FIFA vice president, will be released for jail on bail, pending trial in Federal court in Brooklyn on corruption charges. The conditions ofrelease include a $1 million personal recognizance bond secured by $50,000 cash and real estate, home detention and electronic monitoring. Haiti, a native of Honduras, was arrested in Zurich inDecember in connection with the second set of Federal indictments.
