1. Ron Patel has left New Mexico United to become the president of USL Championship rival Rio Grande Valley FC, based in Edinburg, Texas.Patel was the first employee and chief revenue officer at New Mexico United, which led the USL Championship in attendance in its first season with an average of 12,693 fans a game in 2019. Previously,he had been the president of the Albuquerque Sol, which plays in the USL League Two.
