San Jose, California-born Steven Beitashour was drafted out of San Diego State by the San Jose Earthquakes in 2010, which was the beginning of his 13-year MLS career. As a professional, Beitashour won three Supporters’ Shields, lifted the 2017 MLS Cup with Toronto FC, and was a part of Iran’s 2014 World Cup squad.
