Galatasaray on Wednesday fired Roberto Mancini after the Turkish club failed to win its domestic league, finishing second to rival Fenerbahce. Mancini, a former Inter Milan and ManchesterCity coach, was hired last fall after the Turkish giant fired Fatih Terim for a poor start to the 2013-14 season. In his only season in charge, Mancini managed to win the Turkish Cup. TheItalian tactician is now being linked with the vacant head coaching position at Southampton in the English Premier League.
