Nicklas Bendtner‘s hat trick gave Denmark a 3-2 win over the USA, which had led 1-0 and 2-1. It marked the fifth time in the last seven games the USA led ortied going into the 75th minute and gave up goals that cost it the lead or the game. This was the first time the USA led by ended up losing.
