Ghanaian forward Abdul Majeed Waris is a doubt for the Black Stars World Cup opener against the USA after limping off in the fourth minute of Ghana’s 4-0 win against SouthKorea in Miami on Monday night. Waris, who was replaced by Jordan Ayew (who went on to hit a hat trick in the match), landed awkwardly after a clumsy challenge in which he looked tohave injured his left thigh.
