U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati spoke with reporters at a media roundtable before Friday’s USA-St. Vincent & the Grenadines game and said he expectedJurgen Klinsmann will remain the coach but he admitted no one was guaranteed job security, not him, not his coach or others at U.S. Soccer. “We expect toqualify, I expect Jurgen to be the coach,” said Gulati. “But I don’t think anyone can honestly say, regardless of what happens, this is what we’re going to do. Whether it’s picking the team captain, the right-back, or the coach. No matter what happens, it’s unrealistic.”

For not being fired Klinsmann is in uncharted territory. He has done things that would of got coaches fired months ago.
