Ilkay Gundogan is set to put 14 months of injury misery behind him on Saturday when he joins his Borussia Dortmund teammates for the trip to Cologne. The Germany international, who missedmost of last season in addition to the World Cup with a back problem, said he expects to be in Jurgen Klopp’s squad for Saturday’s game, saying, “I’m ready andavailable.”
Klopp, whose team is currently 13th following a terrible start to the Bundesliga season, was also further boosted by the news that forwards Marco Reus and HenrikhMkhitaryan had also returned to training.
