A British court issued an injunction preventing the Sunday Times from publishing hacked emails involving former star David Beckham, but that did not prevent their release in other countries aspart of Football Leaks.
The emails show Beckham was angry at not being granted a knighthood in 2013 — the honors committee was concerned about an alleged tax avoidance scheme — and revelations of some of his travel and hotel arrangements.
Beckham’s advisors said that emails had been “taken out of context” and “doctored.”
