Liverpool vice captain Jordan Henderson followed in the footsteps of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho on Thursday by signing a five-year deal with the club that will keephim at Anfield until 2020. According to the Liverpool Echo, the deal is worth around 100,000 pounds per week. Henderson, 24, is the leading candidate to take the captain’s armband fromSteven Gerrard after he joins the LA Galaxy this summer.
