[VIDEO PICK: Golazo] Alex Colon of Deportivo Quito unleashed a shot from just inside Cuenca’s half that flew into the upper V for the fifthgoal in a 5-1 win.
Colon, who had scored earlier for the Ecuador Serie A’s second-place team, saw his left-footed rocket hit the underside of the crossbar and carom into the net.
Unlike the usual super long-distance goal, it wasn’t a matter of a goalkeeper being caught by surprise out of the position. The shot was simply unstoppable.
