Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he is worried about the national team’s future after compatriot John Guidetti made just six appearances as asubstitute at Stoke City last season after joining the Premier League club on loan from Manchester City in January.

“I’m worried about Swedish soccer after me,” the Paris Saint-Germain strikersaid. “I am very worried. Very worried. Actually. Why? How many seats in their national teams? How many talents we have out there? We have the under-17 team. Is that what we’re waiting for? We’retalking about Guidetti. Well, how many games did he do this year?”

Sweden has upcoming friendlies against Denmark on Wednesday and Belgium on Sunday, but the Scandinavian country is not goingto the World Cup in Brazil, so Ibra is not convinced the games are worth anything. “These two games are completely unimportant,” he said. “Everyone thinks of holiday. We’ll just play by them and thenit’s vacation. We will not play the World Cup, but we will make it as good as possible in these two matches.”
