Zlatan Ibrahimovic laughed off rumors linking him with a move to AS Roma on Tuesday, insisting that he will see out his Paris Saint-Germain contract, which runs until 2016. The Swedishstriker, speaking after PSG’s 1-0 win against Inter Milan at the Dubai Football Challenge, also denied reports that he had fallen out with PSG coach Laurent Blanc.
“Could Ireturn to Serie A? No. Some have talked about it, some have even announced it, but it’s not true at all. I have another year on my PSG contract, so I’ll stay for now and then we’llsee what happens. These stories are invented.”
The well-traveled striker, 33, also said he had no plans to retire when his PSG contract runs out. “I hope that the Zlatan of todayis still the strongest. I try to improve myself every season, as long as I’m making progress I want to play, but the day that doesn’t happen then I’ll stop.”
