1. Defender Lennard Maloney, 22, made his Bundesliga debut as a late sub for Borussia Dortmund in its 3-1 win at Arminia Bielefeld. The former U.S. U-20 grew up in the Union Berlin youth system and joined Borussia Dortmund II as a free agent in 2020.
2. In Scotland, Ian Harkes‘ Dundee United moved into a three-way tie for the Premiership lead with a 2-1 win over Motherwell. Christian Ramirez is third in the league with five goals after scoring to give Aberdeen a 1-0 win over Hibernian.
3. On a two-year loan from FC Dallas to PSV, 18-year-old Dante Sealy scored three goals in 29 minutes in the second half to give Jong PSV a 5-3 at Almere City in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
