With his back to goal, the 26-year-old forward lifted the ball into the goal with a bicycle kick for Union Berlin’s tying goal in its 2-1 overtime win at fourth-tier Chemnitzer in Germany’s DFB Pokal. After 39 goals over two seasons with Switzerland’s Young Boys, Pefok moved to Union Berlin for a transfer fee estimated to be 6 million euros ($6.25 million).
